Outstanding location in a supremely dramatic and isolated spot. Very good food and friendly service. The atmosphere in the dining rooms is ‘gemütlich’ - snug and jolly. The shower etc facilities are at the fairly basic end of the spectrum but that is to be expected. All in our party of 10 considered the experience of two nights at the hut to be unmissable and unforgettable.

This was our favorite hut that we stayed in on our hike in the Tre Cime region!! We loved that it was smaller than some huts we stayed in and felt more cozy and intimate. It also had our favorite food. We stayed in a shared room with fresh linens and it was very nice, cozy, and comfortable (I recommend opening the windows at night, you might think it's too cold but you will want them open in the summer). We also loved the cute gingham comforters and found the beds cozier than at other huts. The vibes in this hut were just overall wonderful and it was a nice and relaxed atmosphere. We especially loved exploring around the hut in the evening and taking advantage of their reclined benches to look at the stars! Another plus is that they take online reservations (you don't have to email and wait for a response) and they accept credit card! They also offer showers for a fee although we didn't use them.

This was a great place to stay! The staff works very hard here and are very friendly. The location is stunning, surrounded by tall rock formations on almost all sides. The food here was pretty good and they offer almost any refreshment you could need. The rooms can be a little tight, but it beats sleeping outside in a tent. A little crazy trying to charge your phone since there's only one spot with outlets.

Our absolute best experience in the Dolomites. The staff was cordial and professional, the food was restaurant-level worthy yet affordable, the rooms were comfy and clean, the view is breathtaking, the route to get to the rifuggio was a perfect mix of accessible but remote enough to enjoy the quietude of the mountains, everything was perfect!
